Seeing the Backstreet Boys at the Sphere

OMG OMG OMG, where do I even begin this post?! My inner millennial child from 1999-2000 is screaming with excitement that she got to be re-live the glory days for a night with the iconic Backstreet Boys....ok, fine, her and 20,000 of their closest friends, but still! She breathed the same area as BSB. Lol. Ok that's enough. No it's not. Let's get into it.

I suppose let's start with, we purchased these tickets at the last minute (a week out from the concert) because they were the front row aisle seats in the 300 level and I just couldn't turn it down. I may have been too young to see BSB in concert back in the day but now I have adult money and decision-making power so we packed our bags, dropped our dog off at camp, and off we went. And honestly...I regret NOTHING. Worth every penny spent.

The Sphere is within walking distance of the Venetian and the Wynn so that was fantastic. The signage was clearly marked and the boys started welcoming you as soon as you crossed into the hallway of the Venetian.

Everyone was wearing white in honor of the Millennium album cover where the boys wore all white. Peak fashion let me just tell you! It was so easy to navigate. You showed your tickets and followed signage to your level and section.

And everything was futuristic. So so cool. And tinted blue....lol.
But nothing prepared us for when we walked into the actual seating area. The screens are larger than....4 football fields?! Talk about a big screen!
While we waited (BSB started 45 minutes late, give or take) they scrolled interesting facts about the boys and sphere. It gave my eyes time to adjust to the enormity of it all.
The steps were steep, and we were lucky enough to have to go alllllll the way down to the very front of the section. Honestly, I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. Maybe where the overhang is for the 200s but for the 300s and 400s...amazing. You got a decent view of the boys but then amazing views of the screen. And honestly, there were a few moments where I watched the screen more than the boys!

One last selfie before the boys took the stage.
And one last pan of the venue....
And the opening performance...it was so cool seeing them so HUGE on the screens.
Despite being 40s and 50s the boys sang and danced like it was the 90s again.

At one point their stage levitated and thank came closer to our level in height! Kevin must be afraid of heights because he was holding on for dear life.
My personal favorite:

And they brought the house down with Everybody (Backstreet's Back).
What a phenomenal, fun, enjoyable concert. Sphere brought the vibes and the boys brought the music. I was so impressed and very pleased we decided to let the impulsive side of our brains win out when we decided to go.
