New Year, Already? Looking back at my 2024 Goals.

I am so ready to jump right into 2025. But let's see how my goals for 2024 went first, right?

Last year I posted a list of goals for specific areas of my life: Travel, Fitness/Wellness, Work/Career/Education, and Random. Let's see how I did...

Take two trips. ✅

One weekend away. ✅

Visit the beach. ✅

Visit the mountains. ✅

FITNESS/WELLNESS

Reduce weight ❌

WORK/CAREER/EDUCATION

Limit stress - work during work hours and do not take it home with me. ✅

Don't worry about uncontrollables ✅

As always, my lifelong resolution can be found on my Bucket List.

I would give myself a B+ for my Goals and Resolutions from 2024. Travel-wise I did really well!  I visited not one but two new countries in 2024 (Spain and Greece) on two separate trips.

I also spent the weekend in Vegas with my sister and brother-in-law seeing Lady Gaga in residency in July.

And lastly, I had a quick escape to Disney earlier this month.

I am so happy to have accomplished those goals. As for the beach and the mountains I suppose the beach and mountains in Greece will have to count! I did make it Spring Lake once this summer so that works too.

Fitness I fell apart on, which honestly is not that surprising....unfortunate, but not surprising. I definitely did not meet 1000 miles. In fact, my total for the year is 92 hours (down by 52 hours compared to 2023) and 244.63 total miles. A far cry from the 1000 I was hoping for. But I think I am going to try again. I also did not reach 10k in the Peloton Annual Challenge - I topped out at 5k. I also did not lose meaningful weight (I'm pretty sure I'm still around 160...will do a weigh in shortly). I'm not sure why Start a Youtube Channel is under fitness but I definitely did not do that. I filmed a few things but then never did anything with it. And as far as my eating goes -- next topic please...

I will come up with new fitness related goals for 2025 and really try hard to achieve them.

My work and career goals were mostly completed and I did read the 5 books I was targeting. I read Tom Felton's Beyond the Wand, Kelly Bishop's The Third Gilmore Girl, Alex Toussaint's Activate Your Greatness, Jake Anderson's Relapse, and Crystal Hefner's Only Say Good Things. I think I am going to include a reading goal for 2025. I really enjoy it!

And 3 out of 5 Random Goals were achieved so I am proud of that. I not only met my financial saving goal, but I also had some fun and added not only a second pair of Louboutins (technically a gift from my husband -- thank you, my love!) but also went wild in Florida and treated myself to my Holy Grail bag...a Chanel classic flap.  We also went to a few concerts throughout the year, including Lady Gaga in July and TSO in December.

Looking back on it....2024 was a fantastic year! I am so looking forward to seeing what 2025 will bring. I will be sharing my new goals shortly and would love to hear yours. Do you set goals/resolutions? Or do you just vibe through life enjoying whatever the year has in store for you?
