Earlier this year I decided to focus on getting the best, most restorative sleep I could. After snoozing on the same old mattress for years it was time for a rest refresh and the first thing I did was invest in a new mattress.

Scientists developed a particular foam to absorb and reduce the effects on astronauts' bodies during space travel and the material ultimately became what is the material used in Tempur-Pedic mattresses. What types of Tempur-Pedic mattresses are there?

We purchased the Tempur-Pedic ProAdapt in medium. This is their "Ultimate Comfort" line with pressure-relieving power. It also comes in medium hybrid, which includes individually-wrapped coils. We did not want the coils though so we stuck with the medium.

There is also a TempurCloud line that you can purchase and have delivered right to your home with ease.

The other line they have is the TempurBreeze which is great if you sleep warm since it is supposed to stay up to 10 degrees cooler during the night.

You can also purchase a Tempur-Pedic bedframe. We already had a flat platform bed so we did not need to replace that. Thus far it has worked like a charm.

What is the cost of delivery? It's free!

How long does delivery take? Delivery is a white glove service and they set up your new mattress in your home. Overall it only takes about 15-20 minutes.

Does the new mattress make an immediate difference in your sleep? I thought it did. I slept more soundly. I will say that for the first 2 weeks to 30 days the mattress is breaking in to your body. After a month my sleep has never been better.
