The Five "Musts" During the Color Run (or any fun race)

My sister and I ran our first Color Run wayyy back in 2013 and I can still remember the excitement and fun we had during the race.

DON'T WORRY ABOUT RACE PREPARATIONS

The Color Run is above all a fun race. It is not timed and all you have to worry about it having a good time. That being said, you can choose to keep track of your time yourself but that's only if you want to. There's no pressure to PR or anything so you don't have to stress about preparing for the race. Just have a good time.

PUT YOUR PHONE IN A PLASTIC BAG

You don't have to bring much with you when you run but if you plan on packing your cell phone to take photos, be sure to store it in a plastic bag. Otherwise, color dust will get all over it!

PROTECT YOUR CAR

You will be covered in color after the race so if you're driving home be sure to lay some trash bags down on your seats so you don't get color everywhere. It's not hard to clean it if you do get a little on your seats but this will cut down on the mess you have to deal with.

HAVE FUN

This is the most important thing. Run with your friends, your family, a random group of strangers you meet at the start of the race. Anyone who will make it fun.
